Am I eligible to bring a nanny from abroad?

Am I eligible to sponsor a nanny from abroad?

Now that you’re thinking to bring a nanny from abroad, you have to know that the Government of Canada has certain rules to make that happen.

Firstly, you have to find the right nanny. In order to accomplish that there are several places on internet where the nannies sign up themselves. The problem with this is that they might not have the right qualifications required for Service Canada to allow their immigration. So, you may lose a lot of time sorting them to eventually find out that the nanny you thought was the right, is not eligible to immigrate.

That’s why in cases like this, Regency Nannies is very helpful because we go through all of these profiles. We assess them thoroughly, to give you two or three profiles which are fully eligible to come to Canada. After this, you can interview them by videoconference and when you chose among one of them, we start the immigration process.

You have to keep in mind that this process may take at least 7 months. Since it is a long time till she takes the plane to Canada, you don’t have any time to lose if you are expecting a baby.
