We maintain a bank of people on file with various backgrounds enabling us to fill various requests including nannies who are experienced in childcare for children of all ages, as well as domestic household staff who has worked in all facets of home care and house management.
We are offering a professional and confidential service to all families. We support both caregivers and families in a way that will promote a happy and respectful relationship. We are always available to answer all your questions. We are advising families on applicable laws relating to labour and taxation matters that could have an impact with the caregiver, such as the provisions of the Act Respecting Labour Standards, the Live-in Caregiver Program established by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the availability of the tax credits for the families.  The hiring processUpon reception of your check and once completed the host family application (a questionaire to identify your needs) the process is starting. Regency Nannies will review your application with our caregiver profiles and determine which of the caregivers are more suitable for you.
We will then forward you by email the profile of the proposed candidates. On average, we will be sending you 2-3 candidates. Our mission is to save your time and to send you only the caregivers with experience and those who match your criteria. If you decide to meet the caregivers, we suggest the interviews to take place at your home. In doing so, the caregiver will also meet the children, visit the house and become more familiar with the buses and the neighborhood. Upon hiring a caregiver, we will help you to finalize the conditions of the employment. As an employer, you will probably need a payroll account. We will provide information with respect to payroll deductions and how to correctly register with the tax authorities. We offer a three-month guarantee to our families. Should your caregiver not work for you over that period, we will offer a replacement free of charge. The Live-in Caregiver Program
This program allows caregivers to work in Canada
if they are qualified to work in private households to take care of children, elderly or people with disabilities. If you wish to sponsor a caregiver abroad, we will provide you with bio data and photos of the caregivers in order for you to make the good decision. The interviews will be done by phone and once you have chosen the caregiver, Regency Nannies will prepare all the required documents and will start the hiring process with the immigration services.
